I am honored to participate in 2023 "Jilin University-Oxford University Academic Cultivation Project".I would like to improve my skills and methods in academic writing and reporting by participating in this project, and enhance my corresponding academic literacy. Produce a research framework with practical and theoretical significance for subsequent research. At the same time, understand the curriculum development model of Oxford University and enhance problem-solving abilities. Enhance the level of English academic communication and standardize English academic writing.

I am actively involved in the project. I made corresponding preparations before the course began. I took oral classes to improve my oral communication skills, and conducted systematic listening exercises to adapt to the tutorial. I consulted with classmates who have participated in previous projects, prepared for the course, downloaded tutorial course materials, and conducted previews. At the same time, I have gained an understanding of my supervisor's research direction, read course reference papers, and actively established connections and collaborations with my project team classmates.

The course model adopts the teaching model of Oxford University, with 2-3 students led by mentors for learning, discussion, and communication, which greatly helps to cultivate students' research abilities; The teaching method of the supervisor is efficient and reasonable. The supervisor explains the topic and asks questions about some topics, and students exchange and answer questions. After class, relevant references are combined to summarize; We conducted a group joint literature report and the final article framework defense. In addition to the evaluation and guidance of our supervisor, we also set up an academic tutoring meeting. One supervisor made revisions to our report and article, and provided suggestions before the formal defense, which is a strong support for the scientific research process and results; In terms of organization, our school and Oxford Curriculum Organization have jointly arranged corresponding staff to assist us in setting up courses, communicating with mentors, submitting assignments, recording screens, organizing meetings, courses, and submitting graduation documents during the entire process, which is very meticulous.

In short, I gained a lot from participating in this course. Significant progress has been made in literature reporting and review research, and the efficiency of reading English literature has improved. In the end, I defended my research framework and obtained relatively complete research ideas. In terms of professional competence, my understanding of social cognition has increased, and social cognition is currently the hottest field in psychology, providing me with new directions for future research. In the process of forming the paper, I also had new experiences, and my previous academic writing level still needs to be further strengthened. The unexpected gain was that the contact with my supervisor was through email, which honed my daily English communication skills.

I'd like to thank my tutors Sandra and Xavier, my academic support tutor Sam, the course staff, and the teachers of our school program, which has been a wonderful program. Thanks for the students who have communicated with each other and made progress together. I have made great progress through the study in the whole program. I will also make concerted efforts to continue to improve in the future. I hope everyone will get better and better. Maybe we will meet again some day. Best wishes!
