Participating in this international academic exchange broadens my academic horizons and enhances my academic capacity. By participating in this international academic grassroots social research workshop, visiting Harvard University, a world-famous university, we take this opportunity to understand the research content and research mode of the advanced research level in the west, broaden our academic vision, and break the narrow concept of frog in the bottom of the well; at the same time, through the exchange and learning with teachers and students of Harvard University, under the background of mutual understanding and cultural self-confidence, it improves our academic ability.

Through the trip to Boston, we can understand the basic situation of American society and improve our English language ability. American society is a developed capitalist society, and its civilization has many good experiences in social norms, social systems, cultural patterns and behavior patterns. We need to learn from the advantages of the developed society, but at the same time, the nature of the evil and exploitation of capitalism will not be changed because of its developed level, and the mentality of American imperialism will not be improved because of its developed civilization. During my trip to the United States, I realized that there are also some major social problems in American society. The lives of the people at the bottom of the United States are not well guaranteed under the free capitalist system, and their declared values of cultural integration and tolerance are facing great challenges under the increasingly fierce ethnic and cultural conflicts.
