The 14-day visit to Rutgers University has come to a successful end. I have gained a lot through learning various courses of Rutgers University and cultural exchanges with the surrounding cities. I learned many cutting-edge philosophy courses such as philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, ethics and metaphysics, and felt the authentic American philosophy education.

First of all in the introduction, the Rutgers University representative pointed out that you are encouraged to be yourself here, you can ask anything at any time, after the teacher's guidance and encouragement, in the learning process of the students to ask the professor actively, in the intense class discussion, everyone express their opinions. At the same time, in the face of a variety of complex communication in the United States, my listening and speaking skills have also been significantly improved. This is a confrontation between Chinese and Western philosophy education.

During the cultural visit outside the course of study, I felt the culture and campus environment of Princeton University, the profound history and culture of Philadelphia and the prosperity and inclusiveness of New York. In addition, everyone also felt the special food culture of the United States and the cultural atmosphere of integration of different ethnic groups. This is a very meaningful academic exchange activity, I am very grateful to the School of Philosophy and Society for its vigorous training, and I will definitely absorb the ideas of this activity to help my study and research.

After being selected for the project, I focused on improving my English ability, especially the English level related to my major. I read English original works in a targeted manner, and actively participated in English lectures and online courses, so as to ensure that I could carry out normal daily communication and study of course contents during the project.

Before the study visit, I made targeted preparations for the course outline and main contents, carried out in-depth study on ethics, philosophy of law and other contents that I was interested in, and searched relevant books and documents to clarify the current spots and the differences between Chinese and Western mainstream viewpoints. As for the unfamiliar topics such as philosophy of language and philosophy of mind, I mainly searched relevant literature, clarified their main contents and mainstream views, and made relevant preparations for the course.
