My name is Dong NingXu and my major is social security. This project is named 2019 International Exchange Training Program for Outstanding Students from the Department of Labor and Social Security from December 1st to December 7th.

My expected goals for participating in the project are three:first, learn about the theoretical arrangements and policy implementation of social security and social welfare in Korea;second, examine specific measures for social security in Korea;third, experience campus life and related courses at Korean universities.

My preparing for the project are three:first, find information about Seoul University;second, find content about Korean Social Security and related professions;third,I learned simple Korean for daily communication.

My experiences of participating in the project are plentiful. On December 2nd, we visited a nursing home in Seoul, called Guanyue Nursing Home in Guanyue District, Seoul. After arriving, first listen to the dean and section chief to introduce a simple situation. The purpose of this nursing home is to create tomorrow and be happy today. This nursing home, also known as the Welfare Center, operates in 18 fields and has 1,483 elderly people receiving services here. This nursing home is special in that there is a project called "Qingsong College", which means that the elderly can go to the community to give lectures for everyone, and the content is the area that the elderly are good at. Another thing is that this nursing home helps the elderly who have been injured at work and re-enter the labor market.

On December 3rd, we went to the Social Development Institute of the Social Development Research Center of Seoul National University and listened to the introduction and explanation of Director Jin Shuohao to the Institute. The Institute for Social Development includes three centers: the Social Research Center for the Elderly, the SNCC Research Center, and the Knowledge and Information Society Research Center. There are currently six research topics: a survey of citizen life in Seoul in 2019, development and research of SDGs indicators, a management analysis of comfort women in the Japanese army in 2019, a survey of public opinion in civil society, a capital survey on youth dreams, and an animal on AI functions Investigation of loneliness with the elderly.

On December 3rd, we also listened to a lecture by Professor Park Gyeong-suk of the Department of Sociology of Seoul National University. The theme was about low fertility. She analyzed the causes of the low fertility phenomenon, mainly including two major aspects, one is the social structure. Change, the second is the change in personal behavior. Changes in the social structure include economic, demographic pressures, family perceptions, changes in the roles of men and women, the increase in the cost of children's education, national population control policies, and inadequate social security systems, etc .; changes in personal behavior are more young people today The reason to choose not to have children is because some traditional family norms lead to increased stress for women.

On December 5, we visited a welfare hall called Guanyue District Welfare Hall and listened to the person in charge to introduce the local social security system and the specific measures of the welfare hall. At the public level, the Korean government has a lot of support, mostly in the form of security deposits, and the welfare center serves as a civil society to help the government connect with society. South Korea's social security policy is not unified across the country, but on that basis, each district has a different district policy. The district where the welfare center is located pays more attention to helping families in crisis so that they do not leave the community. . The Welfare Museum also regularly organizes a number of activities to help the neighbors connect closely, such as providing lunch for the elderly, outdoor movies, and many other activities.

All these are what we need to learn.
