On October 23, 2025, Professor Guendalina Graffigna, Head of the Department of Consumer Behavior at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Italy, and Ms. Zhou Qianru from the university’s International Office visited Jilin University. They delivered an academic lecture for students of our school and held an information session on the Jilin University–Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore 3+2 Joint Undergraduate-Master Program. Associate Professor Jin Qingying, Deputy Head of the Department of Psychology, and undergraduate psychology majors attended the event.
At the session, Professor Graffigna gave a thematic report titled Psychological Models and Interventions for Changing Health Risk Behaviors, in which she systematically elaborated on the psychological mechanisms and intervention strategies for health risk behaviors. Afterwards, Ms. Zhou presented a detailed introduction to Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and the overall framework of the joint training program, and shared the academic and daily life experiences of two Jilin University students from the 2022 intake who are currently studying at the university. In the interactive Q&A segment, Ms. Zhou provided thorough answers to students’ concerns regarding course credits, scholarships, career prospects, and postgraduate study options.
The successful holding of this event has not only effectively broadened students’ international academic horizons and stimulated their enthusiasm for exploring cutting-edge research, but also charted a clear international development path for students aspiring to pursue advanced studies. It has injected strong impetus into our school’s efforts to deepen international cooperation and improve the quality of talent cultivation.
