Biography

Dong Yunsheng, male, was born in July 1974 in Wen County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. He is a professor and master supervisor of the Department of Sociology, School of Philosophy and Sociology, Jilin University.

1994-1998: He studied Social Work and Management in the Department of Sociology, Jilin University, and received a Bachelor’s degree in law.

Since 1998: He has been a teacher at the Department of Sociology, School of Philosophy and Sociology, Jilin University.

1999: He got his Master's degree in Sociology at the Department of Sociology, Jilin University and he visited the Department of Social Sciences, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as a visiting scholar.

2002: He received Master's degree in Laws. Then he got his Ph.D. in the Department of Sociology, Jilin University in 2002

2006: He received Ph.D. in Philosophy.

2008: He visited the Department of Sociology, Duke University, the USA as a postdoctoral visiting scholar.


Research Interests

Economic Sociology, Development Sociology, Network Sociology, and Social Stratification Research.
